AMAZING stay! Staff was fantastic. Food incredible. Beach was beautiful. Feels like you have the beach to yourself. Truly an amazing experience and I hope to come back one day!
Fantastic time. Beautiful setting, comfortable accommodations, and the staff were stellar: knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the island, friendly and kind, and took great care of us. I would recommend a stay to anyone!
Isla Palenque blew us away! My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon there. The wildlife was exquisite, the food was some of the best I’ve had in my entire life, and the staff were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They called us by name and really made us feel at home. With how few people there were on the island, it almost felt like the whole place was just for us. I can’t put into words how amazing our experience was. It’s more than just a secluded resort: it’s an unforgettable experience I never expected and will probably never get anywhere else again.
Dreamlike stay, absolutely amazing, beautiful camisetas embedded in the jungle, far away from mass tourism, great service, really well trained staff, healthy and delicious food, nice walking tours are offered daily, etc. it made our honeymoon perfect and we will never forget our time there!!
Pure magic! As a solo traveler I LOVED my stay here for 5 nights. The entire team was fantastic and made my stay extra special. Special shout outs to Francis, Paco, Rodolfo, John, Neft, Marilynn, Guillermo, Marvin, Carlito. What a perfect place to get away from it all and have me time. The casita is right on the beach and the sand is truly soft and the water warm. The monkeys are cute too. The FOOD! Wow. It was delish and they mentioned that a good portion is grown right on the island! The menu changed each day and there typically was something Panamanian to try. The fish was so fresh and I really enjoyed the daily vegan bowl. Thanks to the chefs for keeping me well fed. The massage with Iris was a real treat - amazing to hear the ocean and the birds. It was the perfect balance of available activities (birdwatching, dolphin watching, snorkeling for example) but also lots of restful relaxation for reading, journaling, painting and exploration of the island. The casita itself was thoughtfully designed and constructed + an outdoor bathtub in the jungle where you can hear the ocean?! Bliss.
