I had a fantastic time at Catalina's Hideaway. The food was delicious - there was enough variety on the menu that I was able to try something different every night. The beds were very comfortable, outdoor shower was beautiful, service was friendly, accommodating. The hotel arranged trips snorkelling at a nearby UNESCO world heritage site, and surfing. Yoga, massages were on hand... really a great time to get away and relax.

An absolute gem for families and friends who appreciate comfort, great food and chill vibes! Catalina's Hideaway is a gorgeous property with luxurious private accommodations (unforgettable jungle view from their tree house & Instagrammable outdoor showers!) , high-end local-fusion restaurant, salt water pool, fully equipped yoga deck all surrounded by miles of pristine nature. Located about 20 min away from Santa Catalina the property has a shuttle service that goes to town few times a day. Absolutely loved a massage with Elena, their yoga classes and retreat packages! Thank you Anthea, Ryan and the Hideaway team ????

Catalina’s Hideaway is truly a slice of paradise! I spent a week here with a group of friends and everything about this upscale boutique hotel is magical. The rooms are all beautiful, especially the Beachfront casitas. The owners have thought of everything and the details are amazing just like the decor. The atmosphere they created is stunning but also relaxed and serene. The pool + lounge areas, fire pit and the yoga deck are all perfect. We booked almost every activity they offer and day trips through the property and all were perfect. Highly recommend each one especially the Coiba snorkel trip. Had an incredible Thai massage with Elena. The food and drinks at the restaurant exceeded all my expectations and again they thought of every detail with a lot of variety including kids meal, casual bites and upscale entrees. Chef Jose was equally incredible. I highly recommend the fish sandwich and the prawns entree. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back hopefully soon. They also host yoga retreats which I will come back for. Big thanks to the staff and owners for arranging everything for our group and creating the perfect atmosphere for one of my most memorable holidays ever.

The Catalina Hideaway was an exceptional start to our Panama round trip. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning garden house that exceeded our expectations. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the outdoor shower, which provided us a unique experience. Additionally, we were thoroughly impressed by the delectable cuisine prepared by José and his team - every meal was a treat for the senses. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat in Panama.

We recently had a phenomenal stay at The Hideaway and we're already planning our next visit!! My husband and I do quite a bit of travelling and I can honestly say that I've never been anywhere quite like this place. The owners have done an incredible job developing the property, from the accommodations to the gardens, to the restaurant menu and entertainment. We noticed all of the little details that add so much to your stay: gorgeous outdoor showers, divine french press coffee, comfy beds and truly reasonably priced beverages and snacks in the room mini fridge. It is perfectly located. You can stay as remote and low key as you like or head into the closest town, Santa Catalina, to mix things up or go on a tour (highly recommend the Coiba snorkelling tour!) The beach is natural, which is great to see some mangrove and vegetation left intact. You can walk kms and not see another person. And when the tide goes out the tiny crabs and birds are entertaining. We often watched the sunrise over the water while walking the beach. And if you want to hang out at a surf beach, it's close enough - just in town. Lastly, and importantly, we didn't have a single meal we didn't like. Lots of selection, we didn't get tired of the menu at all and breakfasts were lovely. Also, the frozen dark and stormy cocktail is a must!
